Their friendship is beyond captivating and seeing the way that Remy needs to grovel, well it was done just right. I found all these small moments with Asher and Remy to be so endearing. And when the truth comes out, it is explosive although I will say that it was highly entertaining. And how there were multiple identities that happened with Remy. It was pretty entertaining that Asher’s friends saw the truth before he did. I absolutely adored this book, despite the secret of what Remy keeps from Asher. A friendship quickly forms between them that turns into something deeper. But as time goes by, Remy has a more difficult time in telling him the truth especially as feeling and emotion began to filter through their relationship. So she poses as a man enough to get the part as the drummer. The set up is that Remy wants to join the Non Constrato rock band, but they don’t accept female band members. I have to say seeing these dynamics I knew that I would be in for a good time and it definitely was the case.
This is a rock star romance but it’s also a mistaken identity with a heroine disguised as a male band player. Ladies and gents, I give you Linda Kage, who has for the sixth time, knocked my socks off.The Girl’s Got Secrets is the 7th installment, and I just had a blast with this book. The whole series is wonderfully written and, don't worry, the other characters have cameos in this one. Linda Kage has ended this series with a bang and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Oh, I almost forgot! He does meet the real her, and boy oh boy does that make this whole thing even worse. And it doesn't help that the delectable, more than hot, melt-your-panties-off with that sexy voice, lead singer Asher Hart becomes really good friends with her/him when she's struggling with keeping these secrets and thoughts.especially the dirty ones she has of him. Not only does she get accepted in the band and gets to play at her first show, she also doesn't want to reveal herself because she's living her dream. So she comes up with this I'll-show-you-who's-a-girl plan and dresses up as a dude. Remy wants nothing more than to be in a band, so when the opportunity comes rocking around she goes to try out.and gets rejected because she's a girl.
